A meaningful object :)

So I was asked to bring to class an object that I believe represents me, my values and my design business (assuming I had one).

I brought a key pendant....well, my object is a key but I loved how it looked as pendant.

Why?? Why a key?

If I ever decided to tattoo anything on my skin, it would probably be a key. I don't merely look at keys as tools to open doors. They do open doors, but I also view it from a more abstract perspective. To me, a key is a symbol of a journey set to know the truth, and truth is beauty. I approve the Greek philosophy that in order for an element to have beauty, it must have a form of truth.

One may never know the true answers to anything. However, the journey itself is worthwhile. This key is a road to understand myself, people, thoughts, ideas, beliefs and more.

All of this is essential in a company. In oder to be a digital illustrator, I must have emotions to create my artworks. There must be integrity, honesty and openness towards my audience.

I just love keys!
